Requirements for Flash Files

Please supply the following items:

  • Flash creative (.swf file, see instructions below)
  • Image back up (.gif or .jpg file)
  • Clickthrough URL

For Flash files to work within OpenAdStream, and more specifically for EHS to track your clicks on Flash ads, you need to set the on(release) function not to a quote URL, but to a variable (not quoted) name clickTAG. This picture gives an example (towards the top). You do not have to worry about the rest of the trafficking information, just the on(release). Flash file needs to be created in ActionScript 2 for this to work.

If you have two or more active links on your creative, you need to supply a clickTAG variable for each button in the following order: clickTAG, clickTAG2, clickTAG3, etc.
